Project 8: TTHI Transforms Small Master Bathroom into Elegant and Functional Space

The Master bathroom remodeling project of a private client’s home was a challenging task, given the small and not very functional space. The existing bathroom had a bathtub, vanity, and toilet, but the client wanted to modernize the space and include a modern shower with frameless glass that terminated directly to the floor.

TTHI brought in a design specialist to make the best use of the space. Three options were presented, displaying the placement of each fixture while maintaining functionality. After careful consideration, the most efficient 3D design was selected. The 3D wave porcelain wall tiles were supplied and installed based on installation patterns discussed with the owner.

The flooring was updated with a natural stone look porcelain tile, adding a touch of elegance to the space. The shower was outfitted with a custom niche and sloped floor tiles angled towards the tile in-lay shower drain. The excellent teamwork with all involved allowed TTHI to fit a custom-built double vanity, corner free-standing soak tub, shower, and toilet all in the space, while still maintaining the flow and functionality of a modern-designed bath.

The end result was a beautiful and functional Master bathroom that exceeded the client’s expectations. The Master bathroom was transformed into a luxurious and relaxing space, making it a joy to use every day.

A backyard pergola with columns, railings, and a roof made of pressure-treated lumber in a pickled finish is a beautiful and functional addition to any outdoor living space. The pressure-treated lumber is a durable and cost-effective material that is resistant to rot, decay, and insect damage, making it a great choice for outdoor structures. The pickled finish adds a light, natural look that will blend seamlessly with any backyard landscaping.

The Gustavus Lightbourne Sports Center government-tendered project was a comprehensive renovation of the existing sports facility. The project included a wide range of improvements to the center, including the resurfacing of the existing hardwood floors, the re-installation of game lines, and the sourcing and installation of new sections of hardwood floors that were damaged by water and termites.

The gazebo, which was made of pressure-treated lumber Louvered windows, had seen better days due to the extreme salt conditions of the coastal environment. The wooden surfaces were sanded of old failed materials, cleaned, conditioned, and then stained to the desired color selected by the client. The new color not only refreshed the gazebo but also protected it from the harsh coastal elements.
